The Arlington Aquatic Club (AAC), the county-sponsored USA Swim Team, and the Arlington Master Swim Team (Arlington Masters) also use the pools. The schools’ swimming instructional programs use the pools during the school days. The pools are open to the community year-round during early morning, mid-day, evening and weekends.
Below are the descriptions for the adult swim classes through Arlington County Aquatics Program which are for teens and adult ages 13 years and older. Teen courses also available separately for 13-19 years. Please make sure to register for the appropriate class based on the criteria below.
Arlington Forest offers swim and stroke lessons for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Please place your child in the appropriate level to the best of your ability. There will be some shifting of levels the first day of class to assure your child will be in the group that fits him or her best.

Our experienced swim instructors focus on personal safety, stroke development, and rescue techniques. Our swim lesson program encourages positive values and promotes growth in a fun and caring atmosphere.
The City of Arlington Aquatics offers a variety of Indoor and Outdoor classes and schedule times to meet your needs! We offer swim lessons for infants, preschool, youth, teens and adults. Year-round Learn to Swim Program Each course is $60 per student and consists of 8 classes, 25 minutes for preschool students, and 40 minutes for youth students.
